Large contemporary fresco fragment piece by French - American artist Jacques Lamy. Known for using his old world art training often applied to modern contexts and styles, Mr. Lamy rose to prominence in the 1990's as a muralist, artist and creator of decorative objects. This antique looking Italian style fresco fragment is comprised of paint on plaster, on burlap, on wood panel and is typical of Mr. Lamy's fresco technique. Signed on back and dated 1992.
