Jacques Lamy Neo ClassicalTrompes l'Oeil Folding Screen
A hand-painted folding screen by French - American artist Jacques Lamy. Known for using his old world art training often applied to modern contexts and styles, Mr. Lamy rose to prominence in the 1990's as a muralist, artist and creator of decorative objects. This screen is comprised of paint on plaster, on burlap, on wood panel and is typical of Mr. Lamy's Fresco technique. Front is a greige color (tan/grey combo) and the back is a light greenish grey. Circa 1990's.
Dimensions open: 79.5" high x 63.75" wide x 1.25" thick.
Dimensions closed: 79.5" high x 16" wide x 4-7/8"thick.
Condition: Refinished, has light edge wear (see pics).
